ABOUT US

Connecticut Consulting Engineers, a professional Connecticut Land Surveying and Civil Engineering Services Company was established in 1995. We have assembled a multi-discipline staff to aid you in your projects. They include civil engineers, surveyors, environmental technicians and computer aided design and drafting (CADD) operators.

OUR TEAM

Scott Poryanda, PE, LS – Principal/Owner

Scott Poryanda is the founder of CCE, he has over 25 years experience. He is a long standing resident of Meriden with many ties to the community. Scott has years of experience in client/project issues including general civil, structural, surveying, site, utility projects. As Director of Engineering and Survey, he is in charge of many projects relating to municipal, commercial, industrial and residential projects. His experience includes such projects as highway, bridge, box culvert, utility, storm drainage, on-site sewage disposal, and site plan designs.

John Gabel

John Gabel is a Senior Engineer with CCE for the past 8 years. He brings over 20 years of experience in both civil engineering and land surveying. John is responsible for performing various civil engineering designs and drafting tasks in the design and layout of all engineering projects. He prepares site plans, construction and topographical profiles, drainage system designs and various survey mapping. His responsibilities also include assisting in environmental projects, such as various medium sampling utilizing US Environmental Protection Agency and Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection standard operating procedures. This type of sampling includes storm water and subsurface investigations, groundwater monitoring, well monitoring, soil and gas surveying, and sampling of industrial wastes and volatile organic compounds.

Mark Giangarra

Mark Giangarra is an Engineer Technician/Senior CADD Operator with CCE for the past 2 years. Mark overseas all of CCE’s production of its engineering mapping and designs. He brings over 25 years of experience in civil engineering. His past achievements include work on various residential, commercial and municipal projects encompassing many disciplines. These disciplines included architectural, civil engineering, traffic, landscaping and surveying designs.

Garrett Organek, EIT

Garrett Organek is an Engineer in Training and a recent graduate of the University of Vermont with a B.S. in Civil Engineering with Environmental Concentration. Garrett started with CCE in 2013. Since graduating in 2012 Garrett has worked on a multitude of interdisciplinary projects, working at a landscape architecture, planning and graphic design firm before becoming an integral member of our team. His experience in different fields gives him a unique perspective in helping clients meet their goals. He is familiar with processes of planning and design for parks, playgrounds, public spaces, byways, residential areas and large-scale wind energy and power transmission projects. He is currently learning all of the principals and procedures about our business by working on various projects, research, performing design work and learning the duties of Party Chief as an Apprentice Surveyor.

Aaron Gosselin

Aaron Gosselin is our Chief of Surveys and our newest addition to the team. Aaron has over 14 years of experience in all aspects of land surveying; residential and commercial. He brings a vast pool of knowledge and experience to the team.
